June 22, 2014 – The Islikon-Kefikon Orchestra can look back with great pride on the 2014 Cantonal Music Festival in Müllheim (Canton Thurgau, Switzerland). In the 2nd Class Harmony Category, the orchestra was surpassed only by their outstanding colleagues from Kradolf- Schönberg. They won with 180.67 total points (out of max. 200) the silver medal beating out their colleagues from Arbon by a very slim margin.
In the parade music category, the orchestra should be very satisfied with a 3rd place and 89.33 points. The excellent performances from Kradolf-Schönberg and Weinfelden were also to be admired. A great successful performance on the hot pavement! Overall, a great achievement for the orchestras and all the musicians.
